Crocodile spotted again in Sultanganj, ranger arrives

There was a rush to see a crocodile as it was spotted on dry land in the south water from the bridge between Nai Seedhi Ghat and Ajgabinath temple. But the crocodile stayed dry for a few moments and went back into the water. Ranger BK Singh reached the spot and saw the site of the crocodile by logging on the boat with the personnel kept here, said the forest department personnel deputed with the boat here. It is said that crocodiles are slowly moving towards the main edge. On Saturday, forest divisional officer Bharat Chintapalli reached Sultanganj Ganga Ghat with the team.

The crocodiles had seen the sighted site by boat with the support personnel accompanying them. But the crocodile was nowhere to be seen. The forest divisional officer had said after his inspection that the crocodile has been seen here for a long time. His confirmed site has been found. He had told that people need to maintain distance from crocodiles.

Dr. Sanjeet Kumar, who came with them here, said that along with the patrolling boat, the deputation of forest guard, and forester have been done with necessary resources. Apart from this, the SDRF has been asked to bathe inside the barricading, no one can come out, to be on the tour of the River Ganga to take precautions.
