Terrorists keep an eye on Kanwariyas!, Bihar Police Alert: 6000 Extra Force deployed; Special vigil in Bhagalpur, Munger, Banka, and Muzaffarpur
This year there is a shadow of terrorists on the Kanwar Yatra. It is feared that the terrorists may carry out a major incident during the Shravan Mela. Bihar Police has issued an alert in this regard. The police headquarters has asked all the SSPs and SPs to make tight security arrangements in their districts. An additional 6,000 personnel have also been deployed.
On Friday itself, a high alert was issued by the Union Home Ministry. This alert has been issued by the Union Home Ministry, especially for Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Under this, now the Bihar Police Headquarters has also become active.
The coming 18th of July is the first Monday of Sawan. In such a situation, a huge crowd of devotees in the big Shiva temples of the state is going to come. In view of this, an alert has been sent by the Bihar Police Headquarters to all the district police in the state.
